Wahhh.. Today is simply one of the worst day in my life.. Ok will tell in as much details as i can with my sleepy mind.. hahaz.. Here it goes.. It started with quite an OK day because at last Saffir went to work.. Which means i dont have to work alone today.. We then talked about what we missed in each other absence.. I told him about what he missed when i m alone.. The morning was fine till when one security guard came and called us rudely to help a walk in case.. He was like OI got one walk in case la!! At that moment, we are still in an OK mood so we helped.. After that there were two more walk in cases with the same security screaming at us as if its our job and we are paid for it to do it but we are slacking at our counter.. At that point of time Saffir and i was quite pissed off already.. Saffir says if theres one more.. Just one more case hes going to go confront the security.. Suddenly the ambulance came in like mad.. As if theres a great singapore sale in TTSH.. They came in in super big groups and we are freaking busy.. At this time theres one ambulance case and Saffir is attending to it.. I was away because i have a standby case waiting to be handled.. When i m back i saw Saffir handling the walk in case instead of the ambulance case.. I was stunned.. But i saw alot of people crowding the walk in case so i think he is trying not to show any temper and show responsibility since we are in uniform.. When he push the trolley he suddenly turned very angry and said if he wasnt in uniform he would have punched the security.. At that moment i thought maybe because the security was rude to him or something like that.. But it wasnt the point.. He told me that the security yelled at him like ordering what to do then after he loaded the patient to bed the security said HAIYO next time one of you all sit at the security there to help the walk in la.. Then i dont need to always call you all and help.. When he told me that i flared up also.. WTH.. This is the nurses job and not that i wanted to push responsibility to them but its that our piority is to help the ambulance and if we are free we then help the walk in.. But helping the walk in firstly is not our job and we are helping for the sake of helping and for the public.. Why cant these people understand?? If something is to happen to the patients in our hands we are so dead.. Yes we are medically trained but we did not have live situation of helping people.. We only have senario based trainning so we only can handle like minor cases such as fever, dislocation or something because its some sort like the theory thing.. But comes to practical like Cardiac arrest, fits or something so major.. How are we to handle?? You may said that we are taught.. But somethings needs to be done in practical so that we know.. Something like driving kinda thing if you never touch the practical stuff.. How good you are in theory you will still without a license right?? Moreover we have no paramedics that are station there to help us or even teach us what to do.. So isnt nurses a better choice?? Ok after that incident we hav like 20 ambulance coming our way in 2hours which is SUPER BUSY and we didnt get to eat our dinner.. We got so tired out and fed up till we went up to Delifrance to have our dinner.. Luckily at that moment the hospital is closed for ambulance.. hahaz.. After i left TTSH i thought that all the bad things have ended but no.. I was so tired till i overshot my MRT stop for twice.. One at marina bay one at Pasir Ris.. Haiz.... Luckily the day have ended well and i hope there will never be a day like this again.. hahaz.. CaoZ..
