Survived alone

21st august 2009
OMG waking up to one of the worst day of my life again.. This is the day of spending 13hours alone with almost nothing to do.. Yuppz i m working alone again if you all guess it right.. hahaz.. But theres a little consolation my dad will be sending me to TTSH today so i get extra half an hour sleep which is kinda alot.. hahaz.. Soon i reached TTSH and started counting down the 13hours.. hahaz.. To my surprise Christian from the HQ came to spot check on us to see if we are late.. Luckily he was late because i m late about 5minutes or so.. hahaz.. When he is here theres like no ambulance and he commented on hospital medic to be the most boring job.. hahahaz.. He was quite right because when you are alone its like the most boring job.. hahaz.. Hes actually quite a nice guy maybe his looks made him scary.. hahaz.. After one and the half hour of boreness Encik Lai finally came to pick him up to go back to HQ.. Then the start of my total boreness started.. At a few moments i just felt like sleeping but i kept myself awake by walking around in ED.. hahaz.. Thats what i always do to keep myself away from sleeping.. Walking around.. hahaz.. I ate 3 meals myself which is so saddening.. OMG.. Eating alone SUX.. hahaz.. Today i got a special standby case.. Its ETA was like 5mins and luckily i just wore my gloves for in case and walked there slowly but it just came in like 1min after the annoucement.. hahaz.. It was a RTA with the patient trapped in the car.. The case was quite serious as the guy was screaming in pain.. The patient is a 25years old chinese male.. I have to hold his hand instead of pushing the trolley.. While i was holding he was screaming as the trolley moved in a wave movement and his arms was dislocated.. The doctors were so irritated by his scream till they gave him some sleeping solution and made him go to sleep.. hahaz.. As i was holding the arms i witness the whole process of the resusitation.. It was quite cool to witness the whole thing.. They started by cutting the clothes off while some nurses aiding him.. Then i saw while he is asleep he was shivering and then i know when you are asleep you can still shiver.. hahaz.. And while he is asleep the nurses did alot of things to him.. Like putting the tube into his pirvates because he will be bed ridden for few days so its not convenient to walk about.. They also fixed all the fractures and stuff.. Its really a good experience to see all these stuff.. Alrights thats all for today.. Thanx Calister for messaging me to keep me away from boredom.. =).. CaoZ
